Nourishing Young Minds with Healthy Meals
At My Academy Preschool and Learning Centers, we value the importance of providing our students with nutritious meals and snacks to support their physical growth, cognitive development, and overall well-being. We're proud to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a federal program that ensures children have access to wholesome meals and snacks while in our care.
About the Program
The CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) is a federal initiative that provides financial reimbursements to child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers for offering nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults. In addition to supporting child care facilities, CACFP also extends its assistance to after-school care programs, emergency shelters for children, and adult day care centers for individuals over 60 or those with disabilities.
What sets our school apart is our commitment to serving freshly prepared, home-cooked meals every day. Our dedicated staff prepares meals daily on-site, ensuring that no leftovers are served. We prioritize nourishing young minds and bodies by using high-quality ingredients that meet their nutritional needs.
Our meal and snack menus are carefully planned to ensure that they meet the dietary needs of growing children. All of our menus are approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), ensuring that the meals and snacks we serve are not only delicious but also meet the highest standards of nutrition.
We are proud to offer daily nutritious snacks during afternoon hours and breakfast for students enrolled in before-care.
Our menu includes a variety of options that are both healthy and appealing to children, helping them to develop positive eating habits that can last a lifetime.
